Holy Cross Endowment

As a supplement to the MCC Tuition Benefit Program, the Jaeger Foundation will now assist with funding the tuition of qualified children to Holy Cross School in New Orleans for eligible employees. The Jaeger Foundation has established and funded this endowment in memory of Poppa Joe (Joe Jaeger’s father). The Foundation’s contributions to the endowment are strictly discretionary and, although intended, the Foundation has no obligation to make a contribution in any given year. The number of endowment recipients and value of awards may differ yearly.
Beginning September 1st 2009, descendants of full-time MCC employees will be eligible for an award under the Jaeger Foundation Holy Cross Endowment subject to the following terms and conditions:
- The parent or grandparent of the student-applicant must be currently employed with MCC at the time of submission and must have completed a continuous tenure of employment with one or more MCC companies for at least ten (10) calendar years.
- The student-applicant must be an offspring of the employee or legally adopted.
- The student-applicant must demonstrate the requisite need-based criteria as set forth in the MCC Tuition Benefit Program application.
- The tuition grants will be available exclusively for attendance as a full time middle or high school student at Holy Cross School in New Orleans, LA.
- The student-applicant must be under the age of nineteen (19).
- The student-applicant must possess satisfactory grades in both academics and conduct.
Any tuition award will be a year-to-year award per recipient, with no assurance in any given year that a recipient will continue to receive the tuition benefits previously offered through either program.
