Gulf Relief Foundation

The Gulf Relief Foundation exists to raise funds for wetland recovery efforts, fishermen and their families as oil continues to gush into the Gulf of Mexico from the site of the collapsed deepwater Horizon. A once-in-a-lifetime fundraising concert will take place on Sunday, May 16, rain or shine from noon – 10 pm at Mardi Gras World River City overlooking the Mississippi River
in New Orleans.

Algiers Development Project

The Jaeger Foundation received lots in the Riverview neighborhood for redevelopment through the City of New Orleans Adjudicated Properties Program. The goal of the Jaeger Foundation and its affiliate, the Algiers Redevelopment Foundation, together with the assistance from late Reverend Arthur Wardsworth, The First Responder’s Fund, The Algiers Riverview Association, and Old Algiers Main Street is to develop and sell homes on these lots to low and moderate income first-time homebuyers with incomes between 70% and 120% of Area Median Income as established by the Finance Authority of New Orleans (FANO).  The targeted homebuyers are first responders, educators, referrals, displaced residents of the neighborhood with a desire to return, artists/musicians and cultural workers, as well as other contributing members of society meeting the minimum qualification guidelines.  Applicants must meet the requirements of the program as set forth in the qualification guidelines.

Mount Carmel Academy Scholarship Program

As a supplement to the MCC Tuition Benefit Program, the Jaeger Foundation will now assist with funding the tuition of qualified children to Mount Carmel Academy in New Orleans for eligible employees. The Jaeger Foundation has established this scholarship in memory of Poppa Joe (Joe Jaeger’s father). The number of scholarship recipients and value of awards may differ yearly.

Holy Cross Endowment Fund

As a supplement to the MCC Tuition Benefit Program, the Jaeger Foundation will now assist with funding the tuition of qualified children to Holy Cross School in New Orleans for eligible employees. The Jaeger Foundation has established and funded this endowment in memory of Poppa Joe (Joe Jaeger’s father).
